Tharg's Terror Tales Presents Necronauts & Love Like Blood
Gordon Rennie & John Smith
Art By
Frazer Irving
From the deepest, darkest recesses of the Nerve Centre vaults, the eerie alien editor of 2000 AD known as the Mighty Tharg presents some horror-tinged tales in time for Halloween. In Necronauts, world famous escapologist Harry Houdini must join forces with novelists H.P. Lovecraft, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and phenomenologist Charles Fort to defeat an unholy force which has followed him back from a place beyond human imagination...A Love Like Blood sees a vampire prince and a reckless female werewolf fall in love, despite the fact that their tribes are engaged in an age-old war. Does love still conquer all when fangs are involved?

Frazer Irving: without question one of 2000 AD’s brightest recent stars. His distinctive art style, both on co-created strips like A Love Like Blood, Necronauts, as well as on Judge Dredd, Judge Death, Future Shocks and Sinister Dexter, quickly brought him to the attention of the US industry. Irving has most recently completed a crticially applauded and wildly successful run on Batman & Robin.
Gordon Rennie: one of 2000 AD’s most prolific creators, with co-creative credits for Caballistics, Inc., Missionary Man, Necronauts, Storming Heaven, Rain Dogs and Witchworld. Rennie has written for Heavy Metal and Warhammer, as well as Species, Starship Troopers and White Trash.
