2000 AD® has unveiled the phantasmagorical cover for the first US collection of short stories by perhaps the greatest living comic book writer, Alan Moore.

The Complete Alan Moore Future Shocks collects the first work by the Bard of Northampton for 2000 AD in a compilation of 'Future Shocks' - short-form storytelling with a twist ending.

This edition features a stunning never-before-published cover by popular Judge Dredd and now She-Hulk artist, Eagle Award winner Henry Flint.

Tharg's Future Shocks have been a proving ground for some of contemporary comics' most versatile writers - Grant Morrison, Peter Milligan, Mark Millar - and this collection is a must for any fan of Moore's oeuvre, filled as it is with the seeds of his unique storytelling and imagination.

Flint has himself raised the bar of insane creativity at 2000 AD on strips such as Shakara, Nemesis the Warlock and Low Life, as well as the popular Judge Dredd vs. Aliens storyline.

Matt Smith, editor of 2000 AD, said:
"Henry Flint's cover has managed to uniquely capture Moore's boundless imagination while suitably framing his legacy in an industry that he so helped to define.
"This is an essential for any fan of Moore's work as it gives an insight into his earliest writing; you can almost watch him evolve as a writer with each page."
