I agree there are too many unanswered questions for this to be the end of Stickleback. Of course he's still alive, falling into water from any height in a comic is pretty much a miracle cure for any wounds or injuries. We still haven't found out who stickleback is, or who the mysterious "employer" of the little bloke is (is he a kid? I thought he was just a small adult). This has been a great series, and I can't wait for the next installment.

Another cracking plot-packed Dredd. I also guessed the identity of the 'judge' last week - that naughty mek sure knows what her master likes! I'm guessing this assassination won't go exactly to plan. And d'ya reckon all 22nd century cars have a handy incinerator in the back seat?

Zombo cracks me up - he's such a polite and charming little undead super-killer. "mr hairdye" heh!

I've given up trying to make any sense of the science and plot-devices in ABC Warriors - It's all tosh, best just look at the pretty pictures of robots blowing each other up - oooh!

With regard to Stickleback, doesn't the Oriental woman hint that she resurrected Miss Scarlet so she could look after the little boy, who's a resurrected Stickleback?

With the question regarding London's future at end, I was wondering if the Stickleback kid is going to grow upto become Fu Manchu? Aaaagh, confusing!

The child in Stickleback is mentioned in the second series when the Empress arrives to pull the fat out of the fire when the fight with the cody-monster goes all tits up.

My impression of all this is that it will tie into the Red Seas, Leviathan  and Ampney Crucis. How- No idea at all, and that is the fun of it.

I also reckon that we've not seen the last of 'Stickleback' whoever he was.

DDD is correct, falling from above a certain height onto water, you might as well be hitting a brick wall but it's the ultimate get out clause ;)

Well, if Stickleback can survive that fall, then perhaps Tonga could have too. And even Black Bob, if "survive" is quite the right word for zombified Bob. Both Tonga and - relatively speaking - Bob were in better shape than Stickleback when they went over the edge.

Is there some literary convenience similar to Cavourite in the Edginton universe that might keep falling folks from reaching terminal velocity when they're plunging into The Thames from a great height?

I was expecting to see Stickleback unfurling a parachute from below his false back as he fell.
Who knows- perhaps he did!

Cover: Liked the black and white effect. Very nice.
Nerve centre: Great news on Leviathan collected edition as didn't get back into the prog til well after that story so looking forward to that immensely. Curious last paragraph from Tharg, would like to know exactly what that's all about.
Dredd: A rather quirky little sub-plot the Inga/Hershey thing, quite un-necessary to the plot really (or is it?) but welcome none the less. Proof that less is not always more as Inga looking damn hot last week in the negligee but in the nuddy this week did nothing for me ha ha. In all seriousness though can't wait to see what happens. Presumably PJ aint going to get away with killing Sinfield, his removal is surely Dredd's role in the story. Beany clearly realises Dredd needs her in the city judging by her comment to Ashbeck Oooh the excitement builds !
ABCs: hate to say it but wont actually mind when this has an interlude.
Stickleback: Still good of course but glad for a break and can;t wait to get into the new thrills.
Zombo: Proper crazy, especially with this freaky stow-away. Am thinking maybe Zombo may return to earth at some point in the future.
No letters page: BOO !
Bring on the new thrills, can't wait,oh almost forgot, what's the general feeling among Squaxx regarding Pat's comments in the megazine interview this month about bringing back an old school character? Which one? guess there may be a thread for this but i haven't seen it yet. Looks like pat is up for it, come on Tharg, give it the green light ! Ha ha ...

Once again from cover to the last page that Prog was a delight. I've not been Stickleback's biggest fan but man was that a way to end a story, absolutely superb. I've alway found the strip ok but there has been moments in this story were its stood out and been fantastic. This ending is an example of that and I for one would now welcome it back, as I suspect it will be. All be it with some interesting developments.

Stickleback aside its a cracking Prog. Dredd while going in the direction I expected does so with such glorious brillance its as intriguing as ever and Wagner is truely writing some of his best stuff ever which is saying something. ABC Warriors crazy nonsense and great fun as ever.

Then we get to Zombo, glorious to look at, a hoot to read and developing such fascinating new ideas to move the story along that I think it really will become a classic.

We truely are at the levels of brillance last year reached already and next week I get my western to boot.

Better than great Prog.

Yep. My impression (can't remember if it was explicitly stated) is that it's Stickleback and the Empress' kid, but it could be something completely different like the one day a year he gets to see the kid is when she lets him drain its lifeforce or some such.

I've just reread the whole lot and it hangs together a lot better that way. One thing I noticed about the little guy who is auditioning the Countess is that, in this last episode, his eyes and teeth begin to take on a demonic cast not at all dissimilar to the bad guy in Leviathan.

Don't forget there's still the resurrection of Detective Bey, whose blood was spilled on the roots of the sacred grove at the end of the first series, to come as well. More please.

Also, Sinfield has a whole load of unregistered clones and PJ's going to have to kill dozens of them before he gets the right one.

Judging from those teeth, I'd say his "employer" was the Old Ones!!!

I have an outside bet on, that getting rid of Sienfeld is not going to be that easy for PJ.

Mmm. I found myself considering that too.

Hope it doesn't happen though. PJ deserves to go out in style, not be outsmarted by a fink like Sinfield.

That would have the advantage of making Sinfield appear a far more dangerous man. At the minute he's in danger of being nothing more than an administrative fink.
