I liked the ships... although I'm not sure how authentic that design was for that period. I notice they've got that old cliché of a woman disguised in armour. And please... lambs become lions? I know what he means but... dear me.

Visually looks lovely though.

Eh... on the fence about this, but optimistic all the same.

Crowe is looking well hard though, jeez.

I learnt the meaning of anachronism recently. The anachronism of the hairstyles in there historical myth films bugs the hell out of me. I wish they'd have the balls to to use the original timeline hair.

That looks really really REALLY bad.

I can just imagine the production meeting - "Hey, let's do Robin Hood, but with more explosions and some sort of mystical prophecy. We can give it a 'Gladiator' vibe 'cos Russ really nails those deep speeches about family and patriotism, and stick in loads of really obvious political parallels. Hmm - look, I know it's traditionally set in a forest and a castle, but is there any way we can somehow squeeze in the D-Day scene from Saving Private Ryan? That was COOL"

I am suffering from Cate Blanchett fatigue.

i think that looks insane, in a good way had enough of classical Robin Hood stories I think it'll be good to see another take on it.  As long as it doesn't put me to sleep lake that last King Arthur movie.

One of the commentors on the article at Den Of Geek made me laugh:

"My name Robinus Hoodius, commander of the Armies of Sherwood Forest... "

Its Robin the Bravehearted Gladiator.

  That's how I'll refer to it from now on.  I thought things couldn't get any worse than the recent BBC series, but this trailer actually manages it at 1000X the cost.
