There was something really appealing about that lass in the Dredd story. I think it's because she seemed to be enjoying herself so hugely.  The art was cool and I liked how sinister her face looked in the shadow when she opened the saloon bar gates.

I rather like the side stories and one offs - they can be a bit more twisted than the epics and often provide more depth to the depiction of Dredd's world. I think the the epics get a bit repetitive.

I think sometimes, particularly if we've not seen work by a creator for a while, it's way too easy to forget they're NOT droids and are as fallable as the rest of us.  Sorry to hear of your troubles Jon.  Looking forward to seeing the next part.
