Yup, I have this problem too, and not just with games.  I was all set to buy the big Walking Dead Omnibus with a Christmas book token, having read it all care of the library and feeling like giving Kirkman and Adlard a few sheckels, and then happened to flip it open on that page...

which page was that? :)
No! Please! Not that! Not-- THE SCORPIONS!

That page.  The kick-you-in-the-balls-so-hard-you're-picking-pubes-out-of-your-teeth-for-weeks page.  The end of Volume 8.

It's great DD, the first reveal of the Big Sister is pulse poundingly exciting and is followed by a beautiful reveal of Rapture from the outside!

Protecting the creepy Little Sisters as they extract the Adam from corpses is as exciting as it is wrong!

Yup. Got an hour or so in yesterday afternoon and just done my first harvest! Have to agree with Pete on the Big Sister moment...

I'm not connected to XBox live yet either - but I think I know I'm going to want some more of this one...

I've only just learned that the voice of Andrew Ryan is actually Armin "Quark" Shimerman. That's my head blown for the weekend.

Completed this on Wednesday and was treat to a lovely ending. After I've twatted a bunch of Predators and Aliens I'm going to go back to it and start again, this time harvesting the little sisters...

Can I recommend getting the highest level mind control plasmid? It let's you befriend Big Daddies which makes any fight a whole lot easier.

I pretty much completed this in one sitting, playing on Medium difficulty and couldn't get away from the controller. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone interested.

I just thought the ending battle was a bit weak. You're so pimped out by that point, just throwing waves of gribblies at you doesn't do much. There is even a vita chamber in the room, not that you need it. I just spammed rockets into them till they went away. But yes the ending made total sense. What didn't really is how so many splicers lasted 10 years in Rapture, and why there was suddenly drill oil everywhere. Didn't see any last time I was there ;)

No, but I do hate the fact that someone just told me how the fucking game ends.
