The elite of the Nazi party all shared a liking of Theosophy and founded the Thule society as an offshoot of Theosophy.

I always think that Helena Blavatssky had a creepy look about her especially the look in her eyes.

The Thule Society pre-dated the Nazi party (it was dissolved in 1925) and, while it did contain members who would go on to become prominent in the Nazi party (like Hess), they never played any major role in the earlier group. Hitler himself never had much interest in the occult and suppressed all groups, from 1933 onwards (despite the Thule Society claiming to have had a hand in the formation and promotion of the early Nazi Party).

Now if the Hollywood folk ever decide to make a film about Helena Blavatsky

I fancy she looks alot like Kathy Bates....

and the fella next to her. One of the longbeards from ZZTop

Concerning the actress mentioned, I don't really think she's creepy unless you take into consideration her roles in Delores Clairbourne & Misery.

Sometimes these pretenders become the parts they play.

What an odd thread.

Any danger of this eventually surfacing on youtube or similar so I can see the Mills droid be barking in the (sythi)flesh?

What an odd thread.

I can do no better than echo this sentiment. David Icke, Madame Blatavsky, Pat Mills, Lovecraft, Hitler and ZZ Top... lawks!

Truth is subjective.
No. It isn't. Opinions are subjective but something is either true or not irrespective of what anyone believes to be the case.

But what someone wholeheartedly believes to tbe The Truth may later turn out to be utter bullshit. So in that sense, truth can indeed be subjective.

I'd like this too as I am still struggling to get any further into this and have only downloaded the first 15-20 minutes so far.

As I've said, he rarely talks about his influences so openly and it is bordering on being a historical document. This needs to be preserved for the children!! Just imagine the streaks of tears down the faces of the grubby faced urchins of the future when our best answer to their insistent questions about "Where did Uncle Pat get his ideas from?" is "well you go to this link, click a date, click the clock, set the right date and time, restart your browser each time it crashes and struggle on through to the end." They have the attention spans of sparrows and this won't appeal to them (unless they are... The Children of the Mayor).

It may not be the same interview as it's recording is dated as far back  as last year.

In this interview Pat Mills references John Temple's best seller "The Sirius Mystery

http://www.robert-temple.com/

.......and of Dark gods by Anthony Roberts & Geoff Gilbertson already linked above.

I'm actualley tempted to buy the full interview, but I don't think I can spare the money.

In this he discribes a encoutner with some otherworld entity not long after he first started wrting Slaine.

Perhaps, the partial inspiration for Spoils of Annywn, Time-Killer and perhaps those Seaworthy Serpents from Books of Invasions.
