Hi-Ex! 2010 Attendees.

Seeing as a few members on the forum are going to this event I thought it would be interesting to see who, apart from the Hell Trekkers, will be there!

Obviously I shall be there and for both days.

I haven't quite decided yet.  There's definitely some people that I want to see- as well as some necks that I'd like to tread on, if the opportunity should arise- but it's all a question of time, really.

I'd love to make it as well. At the moment though I'm waiting to find out if a mate of mine's stag do is that weekend or a fortnight after. If I can make it, I will. It would be my first ever visit to the Calhab zone as well, ha-ha, I could try out all those friendly greetings I've learnt from Middenface and Kenny Who over the years, "A pint of your finest heavy please bamheid".

I thought the Government had cut back cadet weekends by £4,000,000 so I reckon you'll be free.

Yup, the budget for the rest of the year to next april has been basically withdrawn so most adults are now giving their time for absolutely nothing. We're still doing some training but having to be inventive about it.

less than 6 months ago the govenment said that the cadet forces are an example of what can be done with young people and wanted us to get another 25,000 on our books then the budget is slashed.

Next year is the Cadets 150th anniversary, we are by far the longest running youth organisation in the country and we await to see what happens next April before we can start making any big plans.
