I've highlighted the sketches - because they'll rock your world dudes!
Some of the site is still under construction - but, at least there's a web prescence for him now.

Nice site.

I'd forgotten he'd done some Dredd - shame that, for the most part, they didn't take advantage of his particular skills as much as they might have (although they were still great).

Hope his health is improving.  Nice to hear about the exhibition coming up at Orbital....

I'm sure many of you will have done this already but if not have a look at the Look-in stuff. Its quite incredible the way he captures the look of the folk and that sit next to some fantastic cartoon work so naturally. And man that Muppet's ilustration you have to study to work out its not a photo.

Sometimes photo-realistic stuff can leave me a bit cold but Arthur Ranson just imbues it with such life and energy it really is stunning.

Agreed.

Sometimes you end up thinking with photo-realism - "why not just photograph it?"  Not with Arthur.  He's amazing.  Nobody does Button Man or Anderson even CLOSE to his work - and both strps haven't exactly slacked off on the quality artists (if we HAD to have a Ranson-less Button Man, Irving was the man to do it).

Oh that is splendid!!

I just had a look at his Wikipedia page and he has sent in his photo to be used, so he is clearly gearing up his web presence. Fingers crossed it means more work - just looking at the sketches makes me want to see most of those projects (and I'm not half interest to take a look at his X-Force mini-series as the work on that looks mighty fine too - eBay might be my friend on this :) ). I wonder if we could clone him or something (after all, you can clone a droid).
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Fingers crossed it means more work

Not according to this post: http://www.arthurranson.com/content/hullo-folks wherein he says

Asked to consider a web site I initially saw no grounds for it. I no longer work, imagine selling artwork by via it a bore.

I'd suggest y'all go over and say hello to him...
