Other night I received a message through Xbox calling me a Faggot from some random git in Bristol who I had just killed several times on MW2. It actually made me feel quite good to imagine him at the other end getting more wound up by each death.
Weird! I had a kind of vendetta thing going on with a guy on GTA last night, but to me it was hilarious. I'd be rather disturbed to think he'd be sitting at home fuming about it... The highlight was when I was, cool as you like, shooting at some guy at the far end of the street, just about to nail him- when I was mown down from behind by a speeding car. Great fun! I have the same kind of highlights in games, don't get why people get wound up about losing as I genuinely enjoy playing and usually find it pretty hilarious when I get snuffed.
Had my first few L4D2 sessions recently and got kicked from the first couple. I wouldn't mind if I'd done anything wrong or dragged the team down, but both times I hadn't even had the opportunity to foul up. The first time there was no voice chat or communication at all apart from a sneery "Bye bye beasto" just as I got kicked, and the second time I was kicked as soon as I spoke so I'm guessing the accent put them off. If folks are gonna boot out anyone they don't know they should really learn to use the private slots and friends only options on live.
