So how much do these prices roughly equate to in sterling?

It's about $1.50 to £1 at the moment.

I've said it before, but any prices I've mentioned are purely speculative and based on previous releases - just to give an idea of what we might be looking at here.  Prices vary from release to release, depending on the size and complexity of the figure, but Ash does his utmost to keep costs as low as possible (without sacrificing quality) and as 2000AD is close to his heart, let's just wait and see how this line shapes up.  There certainly won't be a 'standard figure price'; smaller, less complex figures will almost certainly be cheaper than Mad George, Colossus of Mars* ;)

To recap:
1/6 (12") human figures recently sold through Bambaland went for $80 (Tommy Mission) to $150 (Jung de Plume)
Examples of 1/6 bots: sold for $98 (Dropcloth: 12"), $250 (Armstrong, 15") and $300 (19" Large Martin)

I've put the names in in case you want to look them up to see exactly how great these things are!

All prices for Bambaland sales include worldwide shipping (which is a pretty big deal considering the weight of some of these things).

Don't panic or worry about prices now!  Just wait and see what gets made and wait for the info to come out before deciding you will / won't be able to afford any of these.

* Not that he's likely to get made in full 1/6 scale...

Heh, to save you all some Googling...

Right to left: Large Martin, Armstrong, Bramble, Dropcloth (Human-sized, complex design, and $98 including shipping), Square... ;)

No major news, but something to cheer up a dull Tuesday morning:

From Ashley Wood: "tharg comes with some cups, tharg fans know why !"

Possibly.  Alternatively because they're extremely tasty.

As I posted on the 3A board:

From Prog 200, The Dictators of Drag Zrag try to blow up Tharg with a booby-trapped cup:
