I had to stop reading that thread at page 2 before time ceased to mean anything anymore.

What doesnt make sense to me at all is that Keane was arguing that 2000ad was becoming too PC and then later he states that Darkies mob is "Racism for Racists" and when its reprint was defended he says "the darker history of comics has been whitewashed" by its apologists except no one was apologising for it because its a war story and the next minute he is referring to and defending Bell curves.

He comes across like someone who is mixed up in his arguments and just arranges words into sentences without thinking what those sentences mean.Nothing more than a load of pseudo intellectual babble. He could do well as a broadsheet columnist.

The bizarre and innappropriate use of question marks was curious as well as if he was actually questioning himself while typing.

POT, kettle, black.

The pot was guilty of using defamatory rascist terminology against the Kettle and the Kettle made an official complaint to the Racial Equality Commision instead of letting off steam.

Richard, that AD2000/Pat Mills & Boon thread is just CRACKERS.  I think everyone wiped the floor with him using logic and reason, they respected him and each other (for the most part) and gave him every opportunity.  There seems no end to his ignorance and no beginning to his reasonableness.  The man is toxic.

I feel a bit sorry for him - probably a fat goth living in his parents basement

I don't think you'd be human if you didn't feel sorry for Scott and what is obviously a genuine problem.  The sad reality of it is that by entertaining him (as many of us have done at one time or another), we're really worsening the situation, and fecking up our cosy online refuge into the bargain.  It's a bad state of affairs full stop, hence the rush to ban whatever new identity pops up ASAP.
Sometimes love is wondering if you trapped an innocent person.
