Being a dick to someone in person at a Con -- regardless of what you, I, or anyone else may think of their talents -- is just being a dick. and a slightly creepy one at that.

It is, but it certainly gets round all that "cowardly people say things on the internet they wouldn't say to the artist's face" business!

I think not saying something on the internet that you wouldn't say to the person's face is generally a good idea.  Unless you're a dickhead to begin with, in which case maybe you should just shoot yourself.
